i'm trying to finish this

SUBPHASE 6.1: creating the MySQL "asterisk" database

but getting this error:

[root@localhost ~]# /usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql
ERROR 2002: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)


how can i fix this?....
