calculating g729 codec

Hi,

We are using vicidial application we are using meetme conference. From Audio codec device (SIP gateway) we are connecting to meetme conference. We have g729 conference done at Audio code device. Then at other end, we have a script who dial the calls and then connect to the meetmet, where the agent connected from Audiocode device.
I have g729 installed at asterisk server and g729 configured at Audio code device.
I have 35 g729 licenses. When I have 8 agent connected, why my show g729 is saying this.
*CLI> show g729
8/17 encoders/decoders of 35 licensed channels are currently in use

I suppose it should show 8/8. please some one make me understand it.

I don't really use G729, but if you are having problems you should contact Digium support about it.
