Hi guys.
I am having a really strange problem. Every couple of days the call_log table is crashing. phpMyAdmin shows it as in use and myisamchk shows either an indecx error or too many records showing and has to rebuild the table.
I have 25million records in this table.
How do I move them into call_log_archive? I assume this should be done from time to time?
Also what is this table used for? vividial_log seems to duplicate most of the same information.

Any ideas anyone? This always seems to happen overnight. I will be fine when system is in use all day, at the moment. But then some mornings I will look at the table and it has crashed again overnight.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I would suggest using the ADMIN_archive_log_tables.pl script regularly to roll your logs into archive tables, which I can guarantee you will help. You should run it the first time over a weekend though, it can take a while to run.

Well I ran the script and stopped the database server rebooting every day and has solved the problem.
The only problem is now when I go into a lead that is over 2 months old I get no call log records. I assume this is because they have been moved to the archive table?
Is there any way to tell the admin interface to look in the archive table for these records?
