I have been going through various forums through the night looking for a solution to this problem.
I am installing the new release goautodial on a laptop in order to have a portable call centre. There are 2 versions of the kernel installed one which ends with PAE and the other one which doesn't. The PAE one doesn't work and a memory error shows on the console screen during boot. The second boots up but a message appears that no Dahdi modules are loaded !! I have tried everything in order to find a solution including using yum to install various upgrades... devel packages...drivers etc
Upon searching Dahdi does reside in the hardrive under /usr/scr/dahdi
I think the problem is that the Dahdi version is compatible only with the PAE kernel but has the wrong version number for the non PAE standard kernel.
How do I resolve this as I need Dahdi for 3 way conferencing otherwise agents can't use goautodial? Everything else works, ie they can call out normally, there is 2 way audio . The Asterisk log states that pseudo Dahdi does not initialize so I know this must be the problem.
I have no problem with installing Zaptel or whatever solutions, so long as it works!!
Please help!
