Installation Vicibox 3.1.15

Hi ' im trying to install Vicibox 3.1.15 from iso (no SVN )

I've to install a multicluster environment
1 WEB/DATABASE
2 Asterisk server.

When I install web/db server all seems go fine but the vicidial_users is empty.

Where i can check, or is it normal ?
which entries are inserted by the first server and which by the other (like conferences phones ...)
I noticed that vicidial_campiagns is empty too.

All my specs are in my signature only change the version of Vicibox

Sounds like first_server_install.sql script did not successfully run during the install process. You can run it manually by copying and pasting the .sql text from /usr/src/astguiclient/trunk/extras/first_server_install.sql It is basically all of the default inserts needed for default entries including the 6666 user.

Honestly this happened to me A LOT! I can almost assure you that I get htat error every time I install... can't really remember what the problem was..., I am tempted to say that the insert statement has less fields than the database has therefore it fails.

Go ahead and check the first_server_install.sql, check how many fields are in the CREATE TABLE there are and compare to the ammount of fields the 'INSERT INTO users' statement. I believe I just add 3 commas in the INSERT statement and I can run that INSERT manually again.

The instructions for installing the cluster (Installation for ViciBox Redux with Clustering) have a small mistake in them...

After the "Web Server Installation" portion, step 7 tells you "When you are done, you should be able to navigate a web browser to "//server/vicidial/admin.php"

Well... yes, you can navigate there, but you will not be able to login

Reason being that it's the Telephony Server installation that is the one that runs whichever script it is that inserts the users table into the DB. I don't know why, but the DB installation alone does not run it.

Once you install your telephony server with the proper credentials to connect to your DB, you should be fine.
