I am just wondering if it is possible, and if so how easy it would be to implement differentiating between a call that goes straight to answering machine and one that rings first.
We run answering machine detection and we ring all mobile phones. We therefore get a lot of phones that are turned off or out of signal and we want to keep trying them quite frequently, however this means that we annoy customers whose phones are switched on but unable to answer by leaving lots of missed calls.
I am wondering therefore if it is possible to Disposition calls that have had an answering machine instantly differently to ones that have rung for a number of seconds and then got an answering machine?
Anyone got any ideas?
