Hi Matt,
I install vici on my dual xeon machine finally n its working fine for me but the question I wana ask is how can we do transparent whispering with vici dialer that the customer cannot hear us but the agent can. If we use barge the customer can hear us as well as the agent n we all are in conference, is there any other way that we can do transparent whispering without customer knowing it?..................

Thats a feature of Asterisk 1.4, but it is not stable enough for production. I read that in this forum.

ChanSpy whisper is a feature only available in Asterisk 1.4 at the moment. It works most of the time, but there are still a lot of bugs in it that cause Asterisk to crash. For instance, when an agent hangs up their phone while on certain kinds of calls while being whispered to can cause all sorts of problems which then lead to crashes.
Hopefully after another release or two it will become stable enough to integrate into VICIDIAL.

I was about to ask that too.
But with my experience in Chanspy. a lot of things happen when you use it. I dont know if it is just me but a lot of headaches happen when I allow people to use it.
is chanspy stable now?
