Hello,
I need to send three sets of DTMF in a transfer-conference. The first is 5 digits, the second is 6 and the last is 11 digits. The first 2 go thru, but I am not able to do the last one.
The IVR which I need to use for the dtmf sending wirks fine when i use a landline to test . How can I go about resolving this issue.
I am using g729 for the WAN leg of calls on SIP trunks with default rfc2833 ( i havent made any dtmf settings globally) , and the x-lite soft phones for agents are inband mode using ulaw and alaw. My ISP -cum-termination service provider is says that they also use rfc2833 with 20 millisecond duration for dtmf.
Where do I start troubleshooting?
Thanks

Meetme, G729 and DTMF don't get along well. This was one of the major reasons I spent a lot of time trying to get app_conference to work since it had a way of doing this. I'm not really sure what to suggest, because meetme doesn't work well with DTMF for VOIP channels, especially a high-compression on like G729.

Thanks for the reply.
I will try the app_conf and I am currently using meetme, G729, on VOIP. I had also tried in gnu dialer with the same failure only with lengthy DTMF sending.
Will post update after trying app_conference.
Thx
