hello,
I have a big problem I had a break from my server VICIDIAL electricity was off for 4 hours time. I restart the server could receive more calls. the asterisk cli I see of calls entering the queue but nothing on VICIDIAL interface

1) You've been here for a while, so I really should not have to say this, but here goes anyway:

when you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and vicidial version with build.

this IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "from scratch" you must post your operating system and should also post the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system. If your installation is "Hosted" list the site name of the host.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (ie: VMware Server Version 2.0.2). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

2) You want mysql repair, most likely. Short version:

mysqlcheck --auto-repair --all-databases -p
You will then be prompted for your mysql root password. If you do not have one, merely omit the -p in the command. Wait for the command to finish, and I often suggest running it twice. Also best to have no activity in the system during this time (which will just slow down the repair process). As soon as it finishes, your system will probably be live even without a reboot.

Takeaway: This process can take quite a while if your system has a lot of data. Up to 45 minutes is not abnormal for a system with a lot of call history. In that case, it is often helpful to actually query the system to find the broken table and fix just that table. There have been plenty of posts on this topic from which to get more details if you need them.

That's what the forum is for. There are many other issues that are handled a lot on the forum, it is quite educational and this particular issue has been covered many times. Start reading forum topics now and be ready for the "next run". 8-) (Or you can get some money on an account with a consultant for the next one and call after you've spent 30 minutes instead of 8 hours ...).
