We Have been using Vicidial for about a year, and it has been working great, So thanks!
However, over the last couple months, it seems to be taking longer and longer to load the Lists screen and the Campaign screen. (Both in the admin interface). I assume this is because it needs to query all the lists we have built up. (Around 9 Million records.)
We created a new campaign to move our old lists too, and that seemed to help the campaigns screen load faster, however it still takes extremely long to load the lists page (in the Admin interface).
The only trouble is that not only does it take a while to load, but it also causes dialing issues while its loading. Again, I assume this is because the load of the query that’s being placed on the database.
Is there anything we could possibly do to resolve or improve this?
Of course better hardware for the database (already 8 Core with 8gb ram), and deleting the old leads come to mind. The reason we do not delete the leads, is because it’s nice to have record of calls, the ability to search leads, and we rely heavily on the "check for duplicates" when we load leads.
One thought is to have a separate Vicidial server, and use that to store our old records and use that interface to search leads, and check for duplicates etc. however I am not sure how we could keep that one current with the other one. Like send the new data nightly to that server, and then just manually delete lists off the production server when we are done using that list. Or possibly use the dispo call URL to update records on the "list storage" server.
Hopefully it’s something I am just missing, But Any thoughts or solutions would be appreciated.
