Automatic ACC-ID?

Postby spacejanitor » Wed Aug 22, 2012 2:13 pm

Hi guys,

Just wondering whether you know of a way to automatically populate the list of ACC-IDs for a campaign? If we have a lead list with 80 different area codes on it, it's very time-consuming to have to input each one manually. If there was a way to upload a list of ACIDs almost like one uploads a lead list, that would be interesting.

Anything like this available or in the plans?

Funny you mention this... I have been trying to figure out a way around this too. Have one client that has a DID in almost every major metro area and it really sucks when they need to do a refresh of their numbers.

Also if we can group them so we can just activate by group instead of each area code.. Please let me know how much something like this would be to get developed and my company can sponsor it.

It's actually just a sql query. It would be possible to use the &DB=1 function to get the query, or capture the query from a query log ... but it would be even easier to "copy" the list from one campaign to another with SQL. If you do not fear phpMyAdmin ... that's one thing. But a "utility page" with a dropdown/selector to allow you to copy from one campaign to another would probably only take an hour to build. A little more if you wanted to have the ability to copy From One To Many (ie: set it all up on the first campaign, and they copy it to all the rest ... with an optional "and delete the old ones" button). Probably about two hours for that to be included on the page.

PS: It is "AC-CID" not "ACC-ID" (LOL)
