Postby ianz2k7 » Tue Oct 09, 2012 10:00 am

I have 2 Carriers, APN and EASTWEST.. But I couldn't make inbound calls to go through. I'm a newbie in here. please help.
Vicidial Version: -Vicibox Redux v.3.1.15 released

Extension.conf

[trunkinbound]
; DID call routing process
; exten => _XXXXXXXXXX,1,AGI(agi-DID_route.agi) ; use this one instead of the one below if you are having delay issues, and match to number of received digits
exten => _X.,1,AGI(agi-DID_route.agi)

sip.conf
; VICIDIAL Carrier: APN - APN 250
[APN250]
type=peer
host=208.74.75.250
disallow=all
allow=g729
allow=ulaw
allow=alaw
dtmfmode=rfc2833
qualify=yes
insecure=invite
nat=no
canreinvite=no
context=trunkinbound

; VICIDIAL Carrier: EASTWEST - 247TALK
[eastwest]
type=peer
host=69.26.183.13
disallow=all
allow=g729
dtmfmode=rfc2833
canreinvite=yes
context=trunkinbound

I created DID, 7072324110 and pointed it to ingroups.. Still no work, even I route it to phone, I dont get it to work.
When I try to dial it using our other server, its just keep on ringing.

Please help.. need it badly.

did you add those carriers directly to sip.conf or by the vicidial web interface?
and try with type=friend

I can't remember if I added it on vicidial web.. but the carriers are both in vicidial and sip.conf

if you manually modified any ".conf" files, undo your changes (reload the originals if not sure, they are stored on the server just use "locate" to find them or install.pl to reinstall vicidial and say "yes" to the sample conf files, it does not hurt to reinstall it just re-copies all the files).

and post your command line output from a single attempt. do you get any output from an inbound call in the asterisk command line at all? if not, the carrier is not sending the calls to your server and you must resolve that first. either by "registering" or by interacting with the providers web site or sales person to get the call routed to your server (until then, Vicidial cannot manage a call it does not receive!).

Also: It's a bad idea to "bump" your own thread. Many of us pay attention to unanswered post and it looked like your post was answered. Even though it was YOU that answered it with the phrase "anyone please", that's still an answer. So we went down the line and helped those who had not yet been answered by anyone yet. Takes a while before we can get back to have a look at older conversations ... as you can see.

Next:

when you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and vicidial version with build.

this IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "from scratch" you must post your operating system and should also post the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system. If your installation is "Hosted" list the site name of the host.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (ie: VMware Server Version 2.0.2). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

Similar to This:

Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X-XXX Build XXXXXX-XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation | Intel DG35EC | Core2Quad Q6600
