Post your current dial-plan, account entry, registration string etc (from the vicidial web interface)
and post whats going on in the asterisk CLI when this happen.

If you've done changes to the extensions.conf and sip.conf files, then undo them and only change stuff in the web interface (to start with)

Your registration string is the default value.

Contact your VOIP provider and get username/password host-address etc
and make the changes to registration string and account entry.

That's also usefull info to know :wink:

Then deactivate the carrier you have active.
and here's some info from the manual (witch you should have read):
Matt wrote:- If you need to add E1/T1/PRI/POTS/FXO/FXS lines, you will first need a reliable telco connection
card for your computer, we recommend Sangoma cards(http://www.sangoma.com), but Digium or
Rhino will usually work as well. You will need to coordinate with your systems administrator to set up
the zaptel/dahdi conf files properly as well as adding the dialplan entries to dial out these PSTN lines.
There are sample zaptel.conf and zapata.conf files included with VICIdial for these kinds of
connections(/docs/conf_examples/zaptel... and zapata...), as well as sample dialplan entries in the
extensions.conf sample files:
confirm the group you have set in zapata.conf and that it matches the TRUNK global variable line in
extensions.conf:
TRUNK=Zap/r1
TRUNKX=Zap/r2
Then uncomment the dialing lines(this example is dialing through line group 2 in zapata.conf):
exten => _91NXXNXXXXXX,1,AGI(agi://127.0.0.1:4577/call_log)
exten => _91NXXNXXXXXX,2,Dial(${TRUNKX}/${EXTEN:1},,To)
exten => _91NXXNXXXXXX,3,Hangup

if you work directly with your pri card supplier and your pri telephone company and get the pri working with asterisk 1.4 ... at the end of that process you will be able to use the Vicidial in that box. at that point, make a solid backup of all the files in /etc/ and especially /etc/asterisk/

Then you will be able to reinstall (or build a new server) and all your settings can be brought along for the ride. Kumba and Gardo are very adept at T1 setups (as is Mcargile) and there have been several helpful posts to get a T1/PRI working with Vicidial. But understand: The PRI card must work with Asterisk first, then it can be used as a trunk in Vicidial (which runs on asterisk!). So approaching from that direction (asterisk, not vicidial) will get you a much larger support base and starting with the PRI provider can often get instant response as they (both your telco and the hardware provider) are very interested in this working out for you. They both made and/or will make money based on this working. Excellent incentive.
