I currently have pentium D 2.8 ghz with 1 gb ram using ztdummy . Mysql apache and asterisk all are on same server . All calls are recorded . Load is around 1.3-1.4 when 8 agents are dialing on this server . I want to increase capacity to 20 agents with full recording . My choices are to change server with intel core2duo 2.4 ghz with 2 gb ram or to get another p4 box run asterisk along with current pentium D ( and is raid required for 20 agent recordings ? ) .
What would be best for 20 agents ?
