Agents dial in function

Hi All

Just wondered whether Vicidial has a facility whereby agents can dial into the dialler to log in...
scenario I have is a customer who has 10 analog phones - can make outbound calls but do not have a DDI each so I can't use the remote agents or external facility within vicidial.
Ideally I'd like to set a DDI on vicidial that the agents would call, enter a conference number/extension number and log into the dialler that way..

your assistance with this would be extremely appreciated.

1) It's "DID" (direct inward dial) not "DDI". :)

2) Welcome to the Party! 8-)

3) You did not post the single most important piece of information (which is required to post on these forums for support): The Vicidial Version with Build. It's on almost all the admin screens in the left menu pane. Posting your installer is cool, but this is about Vicidial and the support question you asked is directly related to the version you have.

4) If you have not already done so, you should download and read the Vicidial Manager's Manual which is designed to cover situations like this (ie: avoiding the posting of basic feature instructions whenever a newbie asks by having a manual that covers the features ...).

5) Yes, there is a "call in" feature of Vicidial, although I'm not sure how well it is documented. That being said, I'm sure some of our clients have used it over the years (At least i would think so ...) but to date no one has asked us to show them how. So either no one uses it ... or it's so easy no one has asked how. So ... check the manual!

6) Seriously consider upgrading to Vicibox 4.0.3 with the latest SVN source code. There are a lot more toys! A good way to see the new toys is to read the twitter feed over the last year. That is generally where "worthy" functions are mentioned. But not ALL functions.
