Play pre-recorded message

I read the managers manual and it mentions how to record or upload a 8K-8-bit message for use in a campaign.

I used audacity to create a 8KHz 8-bit and 16Khz 8-bit audio files and uploaded it to the Audio Store, then went to the Campaign details page and changed the following settings:

Campaign VDAD exten: 8369
AMD Send to VM exten: Y
Answering Machine Message: myaudiofile

The campaign is running, but it is not leaving a message.
Neither audio file worked.

Any suggestions?

Here is a screenshot of my campaigns page

also use this command to resample your wav files to make it asterisk compliant:

sox foo-in.wav -r 8000 -c 1 -s -w foo-out.wav resample -ql

Make sure you also set the WaitForSilence Options. Click the ? to find out about default settings etc. Ive messed with it a bit but i usually leave it at 2000,2 . also be sure to add AL to your dialable statuses if you want to call those numbers again.
