AST_conf_update.pl/AST_vm_update.pl Not Workng

When I try to run the ff. these error occurs:

what is it? will it affect vicidial??? How to remove these errors... please help!

Thanks anyways... I resolved my own problem... I changed the a value VARDB_server => localhost to 127.0.0.1 from /etc/astguiclient.conf
