Question about list order

Postby jfsfx » Sun Dec 12, 2010 1:21 pm

What's the best way to accomplish this:

1)Last lead received it's dialed first.
2)It continues using same rule dialing based on date/time(last in, first out).

Thanks

1) Always post your installation method and your Vicidial Version with Build.

2) Have you read the manual regarding list order? (and pressed the ? next to the list order choice ... to see what the existing choices will do?)

Installed using vicibox 3.0.6 updated to VERSION: 2.4-284
BUILD: 101008-0349.

I've read the manual but I think I might need a Filter to Dial using the rule "last lead received, first out" ...Unless I've missed it...

filter alters the AVAILABLE TO DIAL numbers, not the ORDER.

order is handled by
Code: Select all
List Order - This menu is where you select how the leads that match the statuses selected above will be put in the lead hopper:

Thanks.

Is there a list order option to dial first in, last out? I've found several different options but none that would dial based on "date/time" created...

Do you suppose you could decipher in what order the "up" or "down" options would result? (bearing in mind, of course, that date may not be entirely unique when you add 100,000 records at one time ... it may be necessary to rely on some ... other field to "supplement" the the date field, to break the tie in case 100,000 records all share the same date/time)

We only post leads via API. 1 at the time.

So the date/time should work if I have an option to call the last lead that posted into the system and keep using that formula...last in, first out...

interesting concept. but the same thing applies, regardless! you being "stuck" on the date is stopping you from answering my question above. when you do, you will see that it the same method applies to you. each time you upload a lead, the system gives it a new lead_id. They are sequential and in the order in which they are added to the system.

The fact that they are sequential and in the exact same ORDER as the date field when they are added one at a time or in groups... is kinda interesting, considering what you are asking.

Dear Guru's,

I am also looking for the same kind of configuration, Where new leads need to be dialed first (Last in first out).. Could anyone guide how to do it?

Thanks

Consider setting your list order to either "up" or "down" (test it both ways, one will result in "LIFO). But beware: If you load leads in sequence, you could end up calling them in sequence and raise some serious red flags with the FCC.

Side note: The more often you "bump" the thread, the more activity it appears to have. Thus making it seem like someone has answered you already! LOL So those of us who try to help those in need skip over your "active" thread in search of someone who has not yet been helped.

Not really a problem. Thread bumping is a common thing on PAID support boards.

I just wanted to make you aware that on Free boards like this, with Unanswered filtering ... those of us who check the Unanswered list will often overlook your post if you bump your own thread (ie: Answer your own thread, acccording to phpBB, LOL). 8-)
