cannot upload leads using vicidial

hey i had a major problem... thought i had a backup somewhere but no... big issue here... i cannot import lead on the vicidial and i cant connect my sip softphone to my asterisk server.. please help if possible can you put a copy of your extension.conf so i can modify it with my requeriments here? like a template from vicidial not the one that comes with the samples.. and the explanation on the vicidial scratch install for the extensions.conf part is complicated... some part here.. and there.. thanks..

well i fixed the problem that i was having with the softphone login into asterisk... but still cannot upload leads

Hi

what is the error you are getting
when you upload leads

are you uploading leads from vicidial/admin.php

or from command level

The extensions.conf needs to be customized per your environment.. You can use some of the defaults but not all of them..

i know bro.. but at least i can compare cuz i have something wrong or missing.. that extensions.conf part on the scratch installation is confusing somehow.. like add this part here.. then at the middle you need to add something else that includes the part you added before.. i dont know im not saying nothing bad.. i mean i like this program but im trying my best here to understand the scratch instalation.... thanks for your reply by the way

yeah i finally got the extensions straight up but... now heres the big deal.. when i log into /agc/vicidial.php put the username and password.. the asterisk wont call my extensions ... nothing happens... no message like "you are currently the only person in this conference" and i have the conferences declared and i can call like 8600051 and get into the conference room...

Guys, lets have some order here. please dont post any other support topic thats not related to the original topic.

now for you question. what did the cli say when you try to log in? are you sure that the extensions are in your extensions.conf?

hey i do apologize by that but the thing is i dont like to be creating new topics and stuff. but well i will do that then.. ahh well yeah i can even make an outbound call so its fine.. NOTE: i had the older version for the astguiclient the 1.0.12 something like that and i didnt have this problem... then i said ok lets upgrade cuz matt told me that there was some fixes and i like the stuff about not letting a non authorized agent to log in to another campaign.. well i dont have the /home/cron anymore.. i did all on the scratch installation..seems im not the only one having problems.. i have all the pl files under /usr/share/astguiclient as stated on the scratch installation document... if i go crontab -l i can see that all those files are in there... all of them says /usr/share/astguiclient/....... and only one is /usr/src/ wich is the ntp clock server ... now.. if i go to screen -r the only thing showing up is my last cli output.. what can i do.. i think that the problem is that before all the files for the hopper and stuff were on a /home/cron folder and now that they are on the /usr/share/astguiclient are not working fine.. and i have the asterisk.conf and astguiclient.conf setup correctly as on the scratch install.. thanks guys for your help..

what I mean about cli is the asterisk CLI.

try to login and post the asterisk cli when you try to login.

nothing shows up... just the manager sendcron logged on and off thats it.. nothing else happens on the cli

Post output from your action_full log file when you try to log in.

post output of "screen -r"
