Hello,
I set $SYSPERF=1 in AST_update.pl. Now I have entries in table server_performance. But sysload, cpu_user_percent, cpu_system_percent and cpu_idle_percent are always 0. Is there anything missing on my system? There is definitly load, I have 15 agents at the moment.

What linux distribution are you using?
the commands that are used to gather that information are:
/usr/bin/cat /proc/stat
/usr/bin/cat /proc/loadavg
/usr/bin/free -m -t
/bin/ps -A --no-heading
Please post the results of those commands.

This was written with Slackware in mind. I would suggest doing a symbolic link to /usr/bin/cat from /bin/cat and that part should work a little better.

the AST_update.pl script looks for cat in /usr/bin
ln -s /usr/bin/cat /bin/cat
