Hi, I've been working on dimensioning a deployment over 200 agents in a cluster system, basically I've considered

1 x DB xeon 2 quad core 32GB SAS
2 x Asterisk/web single quad 16GB SAS
2 x Sip TDM gw (asterisk+sangoma ISDN cards 1 x ISDN E1 per server) sata quad 4 GB

outbound campaign
adapt_tapered
hopper level : 1000
full recording
Available Only Tally Y
autodial level 3

if we need increase seats in double or triple, we only need add a new asterisk/web server per each 100 agents? (400 agents = 4 asterisk/web) i mean, if is enough same db server

according thread

http://www.vicidial.org/VICIDIALforum/v ... per+server

the most important component of cluster is DB server?
in this case one of this three servers will manage handle the entire system which means in this server we can uploading new leads and show the reports?

thank you!

The most important component is the DB, but unless you are doing 1:1 dialing you will need more Asterisk/vicidial servers, because 100 agents per server will almost always get overloaded.

Hi Matt,

I am also considering this scenario where we want to have 100 agents with inbound campaign setup, with dial ratio of 70 to 80. Please suggest how many DB servers and Asterisk servers we need for this setup and server specs? We have call ratio upto 2000 calls going one time from single cluster.

Regards

Naveed

I'd suggest starting with 10-20 dialers and see how it goes from there.
