Transfer Conf & Park Call Queries

Hi ,

i want to do the following thing. i m confused abt how to do.

The transfer procedure we require is as follows

1. Customer on the line needs to be put on hold. (will do by putting customer on park )

2. Dial the Client number(Verification officer) and convey the customer information. (will do with transfer conf. putting the number in
text box and clicking on DIAL WITH CUSTOMER)


3. Release the customer on hold such that Client, Customer and the agent(all three) on the line. (unparking the customer now the question is whether that cutomer will auto come in conference with client after unparking or wht should we do.)


4. Leave the conference such that the Client and the Customer can continue the conversation. (how to do with this step ..)

Please let me know how to get this done through the vicidial.

here's what it says on the free version of the agent manual. I hope you have read this. and matt is not going to get mad because I posted it here

Third Party Calls
There are two ways to call a third party and bring them into the session. First is the DIAL WITH
CUSTOMER button, this allows you to dial the third party at the number you have typed in the
"Number to Dial" field with the customer on the line while the call is diale. The other way is to click on
the PARK CUSTOMER DIAL button which will park your customer and place the call, then you can
retrieve the customer again by clicking on the GRAB PARKED CALL button when ready.
It is possible to leave the three party call by clicking the LEAVE 3-WAY CALL button which will
send the customer and the third party to another conference and will allow you to disposition the call
and move onto the next call. If you want to hangup the third party and continue talking with your
customer, just click on the HANGUP XFER LINE button and the third party will be hungup.
If you want to hangup the customer and the third party, click on the HANGUP BOTH LINES button,
both calls will be hungup and you will go directly to the Disposition screen.

This possible and is covered in the free VICIDIAL agent manual(from eflo.net), page 9.
