Sorry to post this message again since I saw this problem asked by other user before but it was more than 2 years older so could not post into that message.

Situation:

Playing Pre-recorded messages in case of Answering Machine Detection in ratio dialing works fine for me. But when the agent detects a Answering machine in Manual dial mode he is not able to leave a VM(pre-recorded) message using transfer-conf button from the Agent screen. Please tell if there is something wrong in what i am trying to do.

Asterisk version: 1.4.26.2
VICIdial version: 2.2.0-256

I believe this issue may be resolved in SVN/trunk, if you just upgrade you can try it and let me know if you still have this issue.

I need a solution that will do exactly whats on this post. I have cold callers that manually dial prospects, but when we get voicemail, I would like a prerecorded message to be left to save us time. I cannot use an auto-dialer because we don't have the ability to upload a list into a calling system. We must call from our database. Can anyone recommend a service provider to help achieve this goal?

The software is "Vicidial". The service provider is YOU (if you want to host the server yourself) or US (we also offer hosting services) or The Vicidial Group (they own this site, and also host Vicidial servers of course, since it is their software).

Vicidial is capable of performing this task when the agent presses the VM button whenever they encounter a Voicemail. Then the pre-recorded VM message will be played when silence begins (ie: wait for silence, play message, hang up).
