does anyone here whats the main cause of this problem?

ive had already open port the
◦UDP Port 5060 is for SIP communication.
◦UDP Port 5060-5082 range, SIP communications.
◦TCP Port 5060 is for SIP but thought to be rarely used.
◦UDP Port 10000 - 20000 is for RTP - the media stream, voice/video channel.

but its the same..

"open port" may not be all you need. are all those ports available/forwarded to vicibox through the router? Do you have a router? is NAT involved?

also, consider 10000-25000 instead of 20000

yes nat is involved and we have a router pointed out the ports to the server

i dont know what could be the cause of this.

try sip.conf "externip=" setting and also try a soft phone directly to your carrier and see if there is a difference.

is it the same with manual/auto/inbound?

how many firewalls are involved? Did you check them all and turn of those that can be?

router for office = forward

firewall in vicidial server = disable/turn off for testing

router for agent = should not have any ports forwarded (or they should be forwarded to the agent's phone)

if you have a router at the agent location and a router at the office location (where vicidial is), you may need to use IAX instead of SIP. IAX is port 4569 instead of 5060 (Still UDP).
