All recording will be in:

/var/spool/asterisk/monitorDONE/ORIG
/var/spool/asterisk/monitorDONE/MP3

They should also be a hyperlink in the user stats screen so you can clcik to hear each call directly from the GUI of vicidial

hope this helps

you can transfer them using a FTP transfer if you have a FTP server setup or you can download WINSCP and connect directly to your vicidial server and navigate to /var/spool/asterisk/monitorDONE to copy them to your desktop.

if you look in crontab ("crontab -e"), you will note a commented out "ftp" line relating to recordings. this line, when active, will use the archive ftp server settings in /etc/astguiclient.conf to automatically send all recordings to an archive server AND change the link to the recording to link directly to its new home as it moves each file.

built into vicidial.

you DO have a copy of the manager's manual, yes? (if not ... this might be a good time ...)

1) Welcome to the Party! 8-)

2) As you are obviously new here, I have some suggestions to help us all help you:

When you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and vicidial version with build.

This IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "from scratch" you must post your operating system and should also post the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system. If your installation is "Hosted" list the site name of the host.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (ie: VMware Server Version 2.0.2). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

Similar to This:

Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X-XXX Build XXXXXX-XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation | Intel DG35EC | Core2Quad Q6600
____________________________

3) HOW did you delete the recordings?

If you deleted from the hard drive via the command line .. this is not related to Vicidial, it's a Linux question. Recovery of deleted files, however, requires IMMEDIATELY turning off the server, and booting from a rescue CD.

None of which is related to Vicidial itself, but to the operating system and/or rescue disk you try to use to recover the files. In many cases, if you shut it down soon enough and use a rescue disk, MOST of the recordings can be recovered.

Happy Hunting! ;)

Access forbidden on accessing recordings on user stat

Hi,

I am using Vicibox Redux v.6.0.4.
When I tried to access the recordings via user stats, it prompt me Access Denied.
What seems to be the problem? Supposedly I can be able to access this via user stat and I just have to click the location of the recordings and it will automatically download the recording.
Please help me as I am new to this.

Thank you.
