Dialer + Debt Collection software

Hello,

Does anyone have any input on collection software that is easily integrated with vicidial? I see numerous posts on how this has been done but no one mentions any names.

I ask because I sit at a comfortable state where I can decide what software to use as long as it can be integrated. Not like others who start the software and then realize that they cannot integrate it.

If you're a company who has previously done this and would like to help me execute this - it will be great because then the job gets done faster. You can look at this thread for details.

Thanks!

Your better bet: Look for a collection agency manager who is presently out of work, but has experience with "XX" software and Vicidial. Offer to pay a nominal fee to this out-of-work person even if it is merely a finders fee to get the name of the software in question.

Otherwise: You are asking your competition to help you compete with them?

Because Collections is such a fun-loving crew of helpful guys?

Not to sound difficult, of course. But ...? Wonder why there's no viable OpenSource Collections software that advertises how well it works with Vicidial?

Hey, you write the specs, maybe we'll write it for you ... and we can add it to Vicidial! (Or as an Add-On ... open source just like Vicidial ... Perhaps written for SugarCRM ...)

Makes sense. However, how is it competition when I'm in the Philippines? ;)

Let me get this straight: You are a call center in the Philippines and you do not believe the word "competition" should apply because the software is (of course) only capable of helping companies that ... what, don't cross borders? LOL

Collection agencies can work for any client in the world. US Companies are very wary of "outsourcing" agencies especially. Not a level playing field. If you can pay an employe the equivalent of $10 per week instead of $10 per hour ... the US guy is probably not going to risk handing you a tool to make it even easier to take his clients.

But an out of work one may. LOL And software engineers are all for it. Especially in the Open Source world.

I will say, however, that if you do not feel yourself a competitor because you're in another country, you're not paying attention to your options. Especially if you speak English. (And or American!)

I'm guessing you didn't read the other thread that has more details. When I'm doing collection FROM the Philippines, TO the Philippines - why will I count collection agencies in the US a competition?

Because ANY collection company, regardless of intentions, is in a cut-throat business and will (without hesitation) cross the border to make money. Any collection agency that "promises to stay out" is actually saying "we do not see profit there right now, but if that changes, we'll be ALL OVER that market". Some business types are more suited to "Global Economy" than others. And anyone on an International Forum getting software advice is Well Aware of this. Or do I misjudge you? 8-)

That would certainly explain the proliferation of Open Source Collections software out there. They're all goodie two shoes types who can't afford computers (probably use legal paper and pencils). 8-)
