I was wondering if anyone knows how to create a ringing sound when doing manual callbacks? Right now the agents do a callback then they don't hear anything for a long time until someone picks up or not.
In the carrier setup we have this but it doesn't matter:
exten => _8XX.,n,Dial(${IAX8TRUNK}/${EXTEN:1},,tTor)

when u do manual dial can u hear ringing sounds?
normally this issue is within ur VOIP provider. We doesn't experience this any longer

Make a call from your softphone ( Ex. X-Lite) and find if it is really a VoIP issue.
