InGroup calls should get Busy signal when no agents

Hello,

I m newbie to Vici dial. I m having vicidial installed and working properly.
vicidial - 2.4-35
asterisk - 1.4

I m having a ingroup. I want to send the busy signal to my inbound calls when the agents are busy.

If there are no agents available to answer the call immediatley then the call receive a busy signal from our system. So the call is either going to be connected right away using Vicidial if the agents are available, if agents are not available then the call does not go in queue and their is no message to be played the call must not connect to asterisk or Vicidial and it should receive a busy signal, so they can then re-route the call to another call center.
If any agents are available then Vicidial will connect the call and the agent will answer the call.
If all agents are not available and when one or more become available then Vicidial will connect the call during the time when agents are available to handle the call.

Please guide me.

Thanks in Advance.

i'm not sure how i'd do that in the vicidial system directly, but you could set up an agi script that "catches" the call before the DID executes in [trunkinbound] and checks for available agents ... and intercepts with "reject" if there are none in READY state.

Interesting.

Also:

when you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and vicidial version with build.

this IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "from scratch" you must post your operating system and should also post the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system. If your installation is "Hosted" list the site name of the host.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (ie: VMware Server Version 2.0.2). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

Similar to This:

Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X-XXX Build XXXXXX-XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation | Intel DG35EC | Core2Quad Q6600
