Billing in vicidial

Hi there,

My name is Sohaib, we are running vicidial in our call center and we use multiple carriers, and we switch carrier frequently, in this way we can not trace out how much we dialed how much should we billed from voip carrier, we all depened on voip provider's portal call log, we do not have anything at our end to cross check.

If there is anyway to check this thing or any addon which can integrate with vicidial it will be very helpfull for us.

I am definitely not an expert, but from what I can see, I would recommend you installing a separate server acting as your SIP gateway

Vicidial has a log for the carrier activity. You could certainly use this for a billing comparison. It's in mysql in the asterisk database (vicidial_carrier_log). You also have the (call_log) in that same database. In both cases, of course, you'll need to use the number dialed or channel to decipher to the carrier used (ie: when you changed from "815555555555" to "915555555555" to change carriers, the "channel" will change from Local/81555555555 to Local/915555555555, so you'll know which carrier the call went through.
