OK, first off let to the required vicidial stuff
Office based Vicidial
install type ISO
Vicibox redux 3.1.1 (soon to be 3.1.5)
Asterisk 4.4.39
ibuypower PC with 8 gigs of DDR3, AMD 3 gig processor
50Mbps up/5Mbps down cable internet connection
ZIoper softphone

I set up a campaign at the office just for our admins to be able to call out, now the hope is for them to be able to have our reps (not customers call in) But before i go out and get the DID, i was wondering is there a way to set this up where you can make the inbound call ring through the PC speakers via vicidal, i know this is a bit different, and i dont know if it has even been done, but i would like like to get this system set up so we can monitor our confirmation department, do recordings, and if they are not by the computer they can somehow have the computer ring (or make any sound) so they are aware that someone is calling in.

You guys have always been great, so i am hoping someone may know how to do this (no this is not in the managers manual.

why not setup one extension to an IP Phone? and have that DID forwarded to that extension?

That would be a option, but i want to be able to use some of the Vicidial tools as well, Like calling a customer back, and the customer information popping up for my confirmation department from the lead file. The Vicidial recording interface, also i just want to be able to have everything in one package. I am sure someone out there somewhere has done it, if not, then i will try to play with it, and see if its possible

you can make a callback to the caller, just use the dialplan that you have setup.

as per recording, that is also possible. under inbound menu you can setup to record all calls when a customer call.

I also configure my DID to route to a particular phone so I could have a ring sound of every inbound calls
