not able to run dialer at capacity

Hello everyone,

I have recently started having some issues with not being able to run the dialer at the assigned capacity. Let me explain my problem and i am sure somebody will be able to help me on it. I have deployed Vicidial on multiple servers and database on a separate server, so right now my architecture is 4 servers, 3 running vicidial and 1 running database, and i am trying to run broadcast campaign. The issue that i am having is that although i have about 250 virtual agents active on each server, but when i start the campaign its only dialing at 500 channels or showing 500 active calls, i checked the auto_calls table and can see 500 records into that table, which keep changing as dialing proceeds. I have already checked, bandwidth and carrier limits and they are not being reached. So i am trying to figure out how this capacity can be increased.
Also i have tried to play around with the server settings under vicidial Admin, and changed the Max VICIDIAL Trunks value to 300 and Max Calls per Second to 30, Also under system settings, Max FILL Calls per Second = 80. But still i am getting this issue.

Just a quick thought. What is the size of the hopper for your broadcast campaign?

Go into the admin for the campaign and check minimum hopper level which is near the top. If this is only set to 500 then it will only have 500 leads to call till hopppper ir refilled.

Try changing this to 2000 or more. This need to be more than your system will dial in a minute as the hopper is filled every minute.

Also what is your dial ratio set to in the campaign? If this is 2.0 then it will make 500 calls for 250 agents.

Thanks for the reply. I do check the hopper and there are always plenty of leads left. We have our campaign dial method set to Ratio and the dial level set to 1.0.

If I assign a campaign 200 agents with AMD option selected, we typically see it dial between 120 to 160 lines. We can't see to figure out why it doesn't dial at the assigned 200 line capacity. However, if we enable the option to leave messages on answering machines, the numbers shoots up above the 200 lines assigned.
