Auto-transfer with Press 1 Campaign?

Hello,

My system will be used as a predictive dialer when I finish configuring it. It can currently dial numbers when I log in as an agent, or when I SSH into my box and use the "console dial" command.

My objective is for my campaign to call the phone numbers in its list, and then use a the "Press 1" feature to give the person called the option to remove themselves from my list or be transferred to an agent.

My agents have external phone numbers.

Is there a way for a "Press 1" campaign to serve the purpose of transferring the connected call to an external phone number automatically when they press 2, but mark them as Do Not Call if they press 1?
If so, would someone please explain it to me?

I hope I am not asking for too much, as I do not know what is involved.

Thank you,
Justin

Current setup:

VICIdial VERSION: 2.6-372a
BUILD: 120713-2123
Single Server
Asterisk 1.4.39.2-vici (build07)

There have been several posts recently regarding the agi script included in the distro that can add a number to the DNC. However, if you have the system "disposition" the opt-out calls as DNC, that should provide the same functionality without having to make any special changes.

In case you have not found it yet, a "Press 1 Campaign" is referred to as a "Survey" in the Manual.

Remote agents are used to transfer calls to agents without having them "logged in". This "Remote Agent" method works regardless of the "phone type" (ie: it can be used for any phone that Vicidial can dial, including SIP/IAX or External), Remote merely refers to the fact that the agent has not logged in ... but it also happens to work very well with agents that have cell phones.

It's in the Manual :)
