warm transfer adding up to total calls today

Need some info.
Here is a scenario, call comes in ----> agent A -----> warm transfer-----> agent B, Agent A---->leave 3 way, I noticed it adds 1 call on total calls, the problem is when Agent B finished the call it added 1 more on total calls. Am I correct? How does the system do its call counting?

Perhaps you would share which "total calls" you are looking at? In what report? on what screen?
