Support,

Is there a way that only inbound calls should be counted on "calls today"? Is this doable?
Please advise.

Thank you.

Too bad you bumped your own thread. I often do not get a chance to "catch up" with ongoing conversations, but only take the time to answer the "unanswered" posts to be sure everyone at least got answered. Since you answered yourself ... it appears you've been having a conversation with yourself for a few days. LOL

I do not know of an option to edit "Calls Today", but you can show categories of calls by disposition categories on the real time screen. If your agents were to dispo calls in a way that would group them by dispo to special categories, you could get an inbound count that way on the real time. Otherwise, the most recent versions of Vicidial do show inbound call counts on the Ingroup modify screen.

But if you want to alter the calls today number specifically in real time ... that would require customization of the page. I'd have to look at that section of the code to confirm, though.

Thanks Sir William. How can I achieve this "but you can show categories of calls by disposition categories on the real time screen. If your agents were to dispo calls in a way that would group them by dispo to special categories, you could get an inbound count that way on the real time."?

I'm glad you asked! That is a cool feature.

Admin -> System Statuses

In here there is a "Top Menu" which allows editing Status Categories. Each category (which aren't made for you, you must make them ...) has the option to be listed in the realtime screen. Then you modify some statuses to be in that category.

I will warn you that some clients have complained that "heavily loaded" systems do not count properly. But normal (not overloaded) systems are accurate as far as I can tell.
