Trying to disable Callwaiting not everyone is thru the agent interface, I have several phones that don't use the dialer. Just make and rec calls thru queues or direct dial.
I have tried making DID entries and direct dial the ext and unavailable goto VM. Still rings call waiting on the phone.

please post the Version (filename, if you are not sure about the version) of the .iso (it can make a difference for troubleshooting!).
If your post means what I think (it's a little garbled): You want to NOT make a phone ring if the phone is "busy" ... even if the "busy" is not due to a Vicidial phone call. Vicidial does not (I don't believe) have a "busy detector" method to allow it to "skip" busy phones.
Many soft phones, however, can have this feature disabled ... but that is not related to Vicidial at all.
Adding a "check for busy and don't call" option to "Admin->Phones" in Vicidial would be interesting, though.

Let me bounce this off you William how about if I make a queue for each phone and maybe a _XXX,1,Queue() or something like that in the dial plan and use the queue options to check busy? Something like that.

There are many ways to skin this cat. Any method that will "check for busy" will do in a pinch. I would suggest you try several and see which one works best for you. After you get one that works, post your results. Perhaps a few others will tack onto it and it'll end up being a feature some day.
