Campaign Settings- "Ingroup Manual Dial"

Postby safaridave » Fri Dec 07, 2012 11:09 am

HI everyone. New user, first post.

I am trying to enable a setting in the Campaign details per advice from the Vicidial Group, but i cant find the setting they are advising me to change. Here is their recommendation-

"David,

The developer advised he had built a work around that will allow your agents to pull up leads (well after they have called them) edit the information and save it, without having to dial them back.

1. On the campaign enable "Agent Lead Search", set "Manual Preview Dial" to PREVIEW_AND_SKIP, and "Ingroup Manual Dial" to NO_DIAL.
2. Now, whenever the agents go into "pause status" on their agent screen, they can access the "Agent Lead Search" link.
3. Using the link they can pull up any lead suing various criteria.
4. They will click on the "Dial" link from the search page to load the customer information on their screen. They can update any of the data they wish.
5. Finally to save the update, they will select the "No Dial" link on their agent screen. This updates the database without calling the customer again."

I cannot seem to find the "Ingroup Manual Dial" setting he is talking about. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks,

Dave

1) Welcome to the Party! 8-)

2) when you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and vicidial version with build.

this IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "from scratch" you must post your operating system and should also post the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system. If your installation is "Hosted" list the site name of the host.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (ie: VMware Server Version 2.0.2). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

Similar to This:

Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X-XXX Build XXXXXX-XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation | Intel DG35EC | Core2Quad Q6600

3) Without your version ... I can't guarantee that this feature is present. But of course you could upgrade to the latest version right now using the Vicidial Wiki link at the top of this page which has an SVN How To page for upgrading. :)
