Agent page loading

Postby ittech25 » Tue Dec 11, 2012 6:59 pm

Help! All seemed to be going well and now when any agent tries to login, they get stuck on the "Loading .... " page. Their phone rings, but the agent web page will not get off the loading.

I did not change anything before this happened. I was merely logging out and then back in.

Is there anything I should look for?

Thanks

1) Welcome to the Party! 8-)

2) when you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and vicidial version with build.

this IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "from scratch" you must post your operating system and should also post the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system. If your installation is "Hosted" list the site name of the host.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (ie: VMware Server Version 2.0.2). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

Similar to This:

Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X-XXX Build XXXXXX-XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation | Intel DG35EC | Core2Quad Q6600

3) Sounds like you have some sort of db overload situation or a loss of network connectivity on port 80.

Well...seems just a few days from switching over to vicidial from another system, I have just encountered this same problem while testing some things.

This is on LAN only.

Only changes I made before trying to login were hiding fields on main agent page

edit: I have also rebooted and still stuck at loading...

--------------------

Solved? I just removed ---HIDE--- from the fields I had hidden and now it works correctly.

Is there a limit to how many fields can be hidden?

Ok, it seems that you cannot ---HIDE--- the comments field as that is the one that seems to be causing the problem for me.

I have had this issue in past too normally in firefox browser. Sometimes clearing all browser history solves the matter but if all else fails install google chrome and that will work ok.

It works now. didn't matter which browser was used.

The solution as I found, is you cannot ---HIDE--- the comments field and all is good
