Manual Dial Channel Not Hanging

Hi Everyone,

Need Help,

Following are my server details

1. Asterisk 1.4.42
2. vicidial 2.2.1
3. REDFONE BRIDGE
4. REDHAT 5.6
5. CISCO IP Phone

Installation Method : Vicidialnow
$version = '2.2.1-259';
$build = '100510-2014';
Asterisk version: 1.4.42-vici

I am using the vicidial application from past two years, it is very nice. Recently I got a problem while using the manual dial option. When the outbound agent dials the number and after completion of call he selects the hangup button and the disposition screen is appeared. But the channel is not hanging here. After hangup the call also my agent is able to hear consumer voice.

It is happening some times only, to resolve this I am using soft hangup through asterisk CLI.

Please help me out.

What is the server load when this happens?

Why are you using manual dial (LOL)?

Has the agent tried using the "show conference channels" link at the bottom to hang up the call again? (there is a hangup link in there!)

Show CLI output from an occurrence, after all this is about troubleshooting not guessing :)

Thank you william conely for your immediate response.

Our problem is resolved, actually we have implemented clustering in our servers by mistakenly we have started the asterisk service in the secondary server. So some of my vicidial instruction are went to secondary server asterisk.

We have stopped that service now all are working fine.
