HUNGUP TRF LINE BUTTON NOT WORKING. LEAVE 3WAY ALSO NOT WORK

Hi,

We currently call a client and after we park the client and call a bank. After introducing ourselves to the bank we bring the client to the conversation. after introducing them both we leave them on a 3 way call. This are the issues we face daily. 1. Sometimes the call to the bank does not go trough. But we try from another phone line(not dialer) and it works fine.
2. when we call the bank and there is no answer we need to hung up trf line to call back again. but the hung up trf line button does not work, is not active to hung up the line. So we have to hung up both lines loosing the client too. 3. The same problem with the hung up button happens with the leave 3way line button. we have to stay on the line until they finish to hung up. Any ideas why is this happening?

thanks
Johnny

1) Welcome to the Party! 8-)

2) Hints for newbies:

when you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and vicidial version with build.

this IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "from scratch" you must post your operating system and should also post the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system. If your installation is "Hosted" list the site name of the host.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (ie: VMware Server Version 2.0.2). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

Similar to This:

Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X-XXX Build XXXXXX-XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation | Intel DG35EC | Core2Quad Q6600

3) You may be overloading your server

4) Perhaps the agents are misdialing the bank number. How does the agent dial the number? hand enter? Quick dial?

5) Consider changing your method to make the Bank a remote on-hook agent in a different campaign and perform a consultative transfer instead. Never tried that particular method, but it should work. Then if they don't answer, it'll just call them again!

6) Happy Hunting! 8-)
