Support,

We will be using Vicibox for a new account. Customers will input their credit card number through their phones, just wondering if dtmf tones are included in the recording on the system? If it is, is there a way to disable it?

Thank you!

Unfortunately, no. You have to set up a special system to turn off recording during dtmf input. Or have the dtmf happen during an agi script that specifically turns off recording during the input. In other words ... test!

we've had a few people discuss the concept of a modified "park" or similar that would allow stop recording and "get data" so this data could be stored or passed, but NOT recorded. to date, no one has completed the process and paid. i know it would be welcome in the community, though. :)

William, that's what the PARK IVR feature was created for 2 years ago. There is even a sample AGI script for how it works.

And yet none of our clients have ever "used" this ... so we have no experience with it. We only have project time for places we've been paid to go. LOL (And that would explain the Park Call IVR/AGI settings). I keep hoping someone will actually use it so we can delve!

Can you explain more about PARK IVR? Maybe we can use this feature on our campaign?
Thank you!

look for the sample agi script in /var/lib/asterisk/agi-bin and read!
