1) use ratio not adapt. adapt does not give you "speed", it is for automation of speed setting and is best over 50 agents and should not be used under 30 agents. Mostly, however, when you seek speed you want to reduce the "decisions" made by the system and just DIAL. for that, you use Ratio.
2) adapt intensity is "how often should i calculate". kicking this to extremely high intensity means you are overworking your cpu on those calculations we don't want to make in the first place. set that back to Zero.
3) queue priority: set to 0 balanced always (if you ever need to change it, you'll know, and it will be limited to Inbound calls as a rule, that setting can block calls from agents ... so leave all at Zero).
next you can investigate the admin->servers max channels and max calls per second (discuss with your VOIP provider, it is easy to get 'congestion' for exceeding your limits ...). max calls per second is best set at 1 per 10 agents on the box. this smoothes out the calls instead of "bunching" them (ie: if you get dropped calls in spurts and the rest of the time your agents are waiting for calls ... max calls per second may be too high because you may be bunching calls).
Also consider that an upgrade may get a better response. Especially since Disconnected Numbers handling was upgraded a month or so ago. So latest SVN will more reliably identify DC numbers allowing you to NOT dial them again. Less wasted dials = better throughput.
Do post your Vicidial version with build when asking questions. also post your installation method. Helps if we know what you have (and its required for this cool free help ...).
