Checking For Dupes

Hello all,

We are loading leads from cli using --duplicate-system-check.
4 Campaigns. Alt-Addr3-Extgended dialing. Our phones data source we build our leads from quite often have the same phone number for two or more leads. It might be a number that ends up in the Alt, Addr3 or Extended section of the loaded lead.
My question is, using --duplicate-system-check , does it also check against the default inbound and outbound lists for the campaigns?
We automatically empty all lists and reload them with custom cron scripts every night. Around 110 lists.

No, the duplicate check does not look at the alt or addr3 fields. If you need duplicate checking in an alternate dialing scenario you should look into using multi-lead auto alt dialing, which supports this.

Thank's Matt,

Which format should we use to build our leads files when using multi-lead auto alt dialing?

Multi-lead auto alt dialing uses the same standard vicidial format, but the different phone numbers are loaded as separate leads with the same vendor_lead_code.

Take a look at the docs/ALTERNATE_NUMBER_DIALING.txt file for more information.
