FRUSTRATING: transfer call to paused agent

Ok I am having the worst time trying to get this to work, and I need help

we use goautodial with the old vicidial UI Vicidial VERSION: 2.4-345c BUILD: 120427-1726

The issue is when we want to transfer a call to an agent on the floor it wont show the agents names - Closer is turned on and transfer option is on
The agentdirect option come up and when we click on agents it pops up a scvreen that cant get closed (stupid) and also does not show all the agents loggedin (stupid) instead I see a blank screen.

I don't know if this is a code issue or a version issue or goautodial issue. we are using the latest ISO from goautodial website.

We can transfer a call to a sip number tho 8001 for example rings our softphone instead of ringing and transferring the agent and there details to vicidial.

So PLEASE SOMEONE HELP

Screenshots are also nice so we can see what exactly you are encountering.

When in doubt with the Goautodial-modified screens, fall back to the stock Vicidial screens. They should still be on your server, although there may not be any direct links to them. If they work in Vicidial stock screens but not the GoAutodial-modified Vicidial screens, then upgrade to see if this is fixed in a later version (or just use the Vicidial screens, which is my suggestion). Or both (Upgrade and then use the stock Vicidial screens in the later version!).

believe it or not, I have done that and no success. We are using the old Interface as we like that one more and every time we transfer the call it goes to our Zoiper client not vicidial.
Maybe its because the agents are on paused I don't know but you would think that having an agent on pause would be the correct thing to do as it would allow the incoming call not to be dropped because of list that our being actively dialled, at the same time.

Then your problem is configuration. You cannot "transfer" to a Vicidial screen randomly. It has to be configured "just so". Have you followed the Vicidial Manager's Manual for an agent-to-agent transfer? (forgive me if this is mentioned below, I don't have time to read, I'm on the way Out)

yes I did and it still did not work, am still very unsure how to do this. - Sorry for the late reply as we have had server issues with another new server connecting it to our old server - read my latest question on here :)
