manual dial rejected

Hi Guyz,

I am having a strange problem, when a number is dialed from vicidial it is fine and call is connected but when I try to call the same number with manual dial. I get the following error,
DIAL ALERT:

Call Rejected: CONGESTION
Cause: 1 - Unallocated (unassigned) number.

further if I dial with the other option manual override the call is OK but this way I do not get the data on the agent screen.

any help in resolving the normal manual dial method will be appreciated.

In compaign I have not set manual dial prefix, so when I manual dial in the dial code I use prefix and country code like 961 and in second text box the complete number omitting the leading zeors.

Thanks in advance

So far no Answer, I have tested it when there was not dialing and amazingly it worked. Perhaps VOIP provider must be having a limitation of number of calls being dialed.

But I am still curious to know , why manual override was working. Any help will be helpful.

Cheers

next time post the cli output from a "success" and a "fail" and we'll compare the two and see what is different.

it can be a callerid rejection, or a "manual dial prefix" on the campaign, or (as you surmised) possibly a channel limitation.

whatever it is, there may be a hint on the asterisk cli, especially if the manual call is handled differently.

if they are identical, try sip debug to see if the "invite" packet is different.

by the way: good job posting your system specs 8-)
