I can' log in to Administration after upgrade to 2.6

Hi there,

I made upgrade following documentation and after I finish-Administration is not open after I put .user name and password:

pop up window for user name and password-> The server says:CONTACT-CENTER-ADMIN

and after 3 trays: Login incorrect, please try again: |6666|vicidial|BAD|

I check vicidial_users table and user is there(from previous version).

Log during upgrade didn't find any error.

What else should I check(Where?)?

Inside system_settings table I found : VERSION 2.6b0.5 and db_schema_version 1347. Vicibox Server 3.1

How did you perform this "upgrade"? Using what instructions ("the documentation" is a bit vague ... what documentation?)? And what steps did you actually take?

Why di dyou upgrade to that particular version? And from what original version?

2) As you are obviously new here, I have some suggestions to help us all help you:

When you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and vicidial version with build.

This IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "from scratch" you must post your operating system and should also post the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system. If your installation is "Hosted" list the site name of the host.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (ie: VMware Server Version 2.0.2). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

Hi William,

so ,following procedure I run:

didn't work when I run svn up(maybe firewall involved-I am not sure)...I posted on forum-no answer until know-so ,I found solution through WinSCP and Tortoise SVN to download last SVN.After that I update tables from upgrade_2.6.sql and than I run from command line: perl ./install.pl

I have to mention that until know we had :

Vicibox 3.1 from .iso | Vicidial 2.4.X-XXX Build 2011-09-30 | Asterisk 1.4.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation |
Server-some old server

and we didn't have any problem-I install for testing but also I made some live campaigns and everything was fine.

Now is -what I already write here-what I saw from database
VERSION 2.6b0.5 and db_schema_version 1347. Vicibox Server 3.1 | Asterisk 1.4.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation

Question is-can I do something-restore backup,or start fresh new installation without upgrade,

if you don't need the data in the database, your best bet would be a fresh install from Vicibox.com's .iso and then start at the beginning of the Vicidial Manager's Manual (don't skip ANY pages) to get familiar with how the system operates.

I bought before 2 years for version 2.2.1 Manager Manual.I saw now they have Manual of 2.4(which I had last 2 years installed).I think I will wait for new Manual(2.6(7)),

you get 1 year of upgrades to the manual (keep your login information for the manual download, it will continue to work for a year). so if you purchase it now, you will get the 2.7 manual when it comes out without paying again (assuming it comes out in under a year).
