Custom Field in Webform

Postby spinto » Mon Aug 05, 2013 12:47 pm

I'm creating a new campaign which takes advantage of the custom fields and the Webform button. I currently have the following custom field for list 5000

Taken from vicidial_lists_fields
list_id: 5000
field_label: Package
field_name: Select Package

In the campaign setting I have the following URL (shortened it for testing purposes):

VARhttp://192.168.1.200/some_script.php ... ckage--B--

In the agent screen the URL is populated with the last name correctly but the Package parameter will always read "--A--Package--B--". I changed the value of "Select Package" in the Form tab but it never changes the value of the "Package" parameter in the Webform URL

Are there any other settings needed in order to use this feature?

BUILD:
Asterisk

Upgrade. 2.6 is fairly old. And it would be a shame to chase this down only to find out it was fixed a long time ago, no?

Also, when you post ALWAYS include your FULL installer version (full name of the .iso if you don't know what I mean by that, to be safe) and the actual Build (not just the word "Build" with a colon after it, but the number following the colon! LOL).

And in case you did not read the whole thing, or in case this was modified after your version, here is something from VERSION: 2.8-404a BUILD: 130605-0841:

Web Form - This is where you can set the custom web page that will be opened when the user clicks on the WEB FORM button. To customize the query string after the web form, simply begin the web form with VAR and then the URL that you want to use, replacing the variables with the variable names that you want to use --A--phone_number--B-- just like in the SCRIPTS tab section. If you want to use custom fields in a web form address, you need to add &CF_uses_custom_fields=Y as part of your URL.

I don't recall the actual .iso that was used. It was a few months ago.

Here's the build info:

BUILD: 120831-1523

The instructions for our build is identical to the one you posted:

Web Form - This is where you can set the custom web page that will be opened when the user clicks on the WEB FORM button. To customize the query string after the web form, simply begin the web form with VAR and then the URL that you want to use, replacing the variables with the variable names that you want to use --A--phone_number--B-- just like in the SCRIPTS tab section. If you want to use custom fields in a web form address, you need to add &CF_uses_custom_fields=Y as part of your URL.

I'll give a day or so to see if anyone can come back with a reason why it's not working. If not then I'll go ahead and do the upgrade to see if that fixes the problem.

Thanks.

In my original post I provided the URL:

VARhttp://192.168.1.200/some_script.php ... _name--B--&CF_uses_custom_fields=Y&Package=--A--Package--B--
