CommPeak Carrier Configuration Issue

Hi,

I am using GoAutoDial 2.1 with Asterisk built 1.4.9 on i3 processor and 4 GB RAM , 500 GB HDD for 15 agent dialing. I need the dial plan and configuration for calling UK and US. The guide provided in the COMMPEAK website is not working for me. In the Asterisk console it shows that the calls are being answered but the agents dont get one. Please help me in the configuration.

Thanks
Roy

Sample for US:
Code: Select all
exten =>_61NXXNXXXXXX,1,AGI(agi://127.0.0.1:4577/call_log)
exten =>_61NXXNXXXXXX,2,Dial(${DIAL7TRUNK}/${EXTEN:1},,tTor)
exten =>_61NXXNXXXXXX,3,Hangup

Note that line 1 (agi) and line 3 (hangup) are NOT optional or changeable in any way.

Line 2 (dial) relies on DIAL7TRUNK=xxxxx as a globals string where "xxxxx" would be a valid sip context (from the account entry above).

Note that the "6" in this example is removed/discarded by the ":1" in EXTEN:1 so the 6 becomes a "choose the carrier" digit. This allows many carriers on a single server simultaneously, thus allowing different campaigns to use different carriers all at the same time.

For UK vs US: the N in NXXNXXXXXX represents "2-9". This is a rule for the 1st and 4th digits for the US. I don't believe that pattern works for the UK, so you'll want to modify it. Also: You did not mention your international dialing requirements (does your VOIP carrier require 011 before international calls? 001? anything?)

i have the same issue before with commpeak.. the asterisk 1.4 in goautodial is not compatible with commpeak. try upgrading to 5.03 ( asterisk 1.8 ) or use another asterisk server infront of your dialer. i chosed the later on which i used Asterisk v11. it works great now.

Change the Campaign Dialplan Prefix to match your carrier (in my example this would be 6).

[commpeak]
host=
type=peer
qualify=yes
disallow=all
; If you want to change the codec priority, place ulaw before g729.
allow=g729
allow=ulaw
; if username/password authentication was chosen
username=username
secret=password
context=commpeak

exten => _X.,1,Dial(SIP/commpeak/${EXTEN})

this is the plan given by commpeak.

The dialplan prefix is in the Campaign settings. Not in the Carrier Settings. Note that if you have not installed g729, you'll need to remove the allow line for g729.

Also note that "context=commpeak" should be "context=trunkinbound". There is never another "context" for an account entry in Vicidial. This setting is for "where do we send inbound calls". Obviously "trunkinbound" is well-suited to this task. "commpeak" does not even exist and therefore cannot accept inbound calls and route them to the Vicidial AGI scripts (which is all trunkinbound does .. have a look in the first 10 lines or so of "extensions.conf" and you'll understand!).

I have used Commpeak in the past on asterisk 1.4 with no issues

How it was solved??

I tried The following setting:

[commpeak]
host=71.6.218.200
type=peer
qualify=yes
disallow=all
allow=g729
allow=ulaw
username=xxxxxxxxxx
secret=xxxxxxxxxx
context=trunkinbound

In the extension string:
exten =>_71NXXNXXXXXX,1,AGI(agi://127.0.0.1:4577/call_log)
exten =>_71NXXNXXXXXX,2,Dial(${DIAL7TRUNK}/${EXTEN:3},,tTor)
exten =>_71NXXNXXXXXX,3,Hangup
.

It didn't work for me..

Please help me.
