Is it possible to use only the soft phone for inbound calls

Hi just a newbie here.

Just wondering if it would be possible for us to receive inbound calls by just using the soft phone alone, without logging in to vicidial as an agent?

if in case this would be possible.
What do we need to do?
What would be the configurations?

Thanks in advance..

For those who don't want to watch the video (or perhaps would like cliff notes ...), you would create a remote on-hook agent. then you route the inbound DID to an ingroup, and log in the remote agent to the ingroup when you activate the remote agent. note that the agent must also log in to a campaign and that ingroup must be allowed on the campaign or it won't work.

you can also use multiple one-line remote agents or multi-line remote agents (such as call centers).

as long as all the agents logged in to the ingroup are on-hook, you can even use the ring-all feature. 8-)
