What would be the best way to send a DTMF code to a dialer

to explain;
I have to tranfer to a IVR, the send dtmf on the agent screen does not seem to work the proper way, is there a setting to make dtmf work better.

Also we have to go through about 3 transfers to get to the people we need to talk to, so we just cant set one dtmf transfer code and ride with it.

1) SVN should be a version number (not a Yes) LOL. "cd /usr/src/astguiclient/trunk; svn info;"
2) You should upgrade. It will likely improve many things, quite possibly dtmf. At least to the latest stable release (2.7), but consider going all the way to "latest". Lots of improvement, features, and bug fixes.
3) dtmfmode is a setting for each carrier. google "asterisk dtmfmode". It goes in the account entry of the carrier. Try all possible modes and you may find one works better.

Happy Hunting! 8-)

set dtmfmode = auto and try

or
you can use your softphone/Hardphone keypad in which agent logged in to send dtmf ,

or

use the dialplan " SendDTMF() ref: http://the-asterisk-book.com/1.6/applikationen-senddtmf.html

I just wanted to update this post and let everyone know that it is resolved and how i got it resolved

It was rather simple, I am not sure if this will work for everyone or not, but with my set up and using xcast it was as simple as changing dtmfmode

Old settings dtmfmode=rfc2833
new setting dtmfmode=inband

I am sure it will not work for everyone, but it did work for me.

Also Mr Conley, could you msg me with the voip providers that you was talking about
