CSV CDR's

Hi there.

How does one enable csv cdr logging exactly? We would like to get an output file logged in a csv format with all cdr's. The "cdr.conf" file says:

; To get CDRs to be logged to the plain-jane /var/log/asterisk/cdr-csv/Master.csv
; file, define the [csv] category in this file. No database necessary. The example
; config files are set up to provide this kind of output by default.
;

We've also had a look, under /var/log/asterisk there's no "cdr-csv".

The CSV category on the cdr.conf file is defined as follows:

[csv]
usegmtime=yes ; log date/time in GMT. Default is "no"
loguniqueid=yes ; log uniqueid. Default is "no"
loguserfield=yes ; log user field. Default is "no"

Are we missing something? Please help

Thanks.

Edit the modules.conf file in /etc/asterisk so that the cdr_csv.so module is loaded. Then restart asterisk. Bear in mind, depending on your call volumes, this will put considerable disk IO load on your server(s),

And note that this is an asterisk question. There are plentiful sites available for asterisk itself, and this is a fairly standard module/configuration. Google it ... you'll get directions ... 8-)
